About Us

Ag Energy Services is a division of Ag Energy Co-operative offering a full range of energy and environmental management programs. This division will lead Ontario agricultural and agri-food to develop Energy Strategies to optimize their energy costs.

The first mandate of the division is the Energy Productivity program, a conservation and efficiency program aimed to identify and implement energy optimizing technologies on-farm.

Other programs under development include:

• Revenue Producing Opportunities – emission credits, new generation sources, and energy reduction programs
• Sustainable Energy Sources – renewable and alternate energy opportunities
• Business Services – energy use profiling, bill verification and energy management
• Integration – making all the pieces work together and fit with other Ag Energy programs such as the price risk mitigation programs offered by both Ag Energy Co-operative and FireFly
